EDMONTON GHOST TOURS is dedicated to bringing Edmonton’s past back to life in a thrilling and often exhilerating new way. Too often, history, especially Canadian history, is presented as being dry and boring. Not for us!

We believe that exploring our city's past is a fun and exciting way to spend an evening either on your own or with family and friends.  Spend a few hours, whether you are a visitor to our city, or a life long resident understanding and exploring Edmonton’s unique history.

How long is the tour?
The tours last for 1hr 20 mins.  It also depends on the size of the group.

Is it all outside?
Yes, the walking tours are all outside, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Do we go into any buildings?
No, we do not go into any buildings on this tour.

What if it rains?
Tours will go ahead rain or shine unless there is severe lightening.

Is the ghost tour appropiate for children?
The tour is acceptable for children, however this is at the parents descrection.

Is the tour wheelchair accessiable?
Yes, we mainly travel on sidewalks and laneways.
There are a few gravel laneway's that we do travel on for a few minutes.


I have experienced a ghost, is the guide interested in my story?
Yes, the guide is always interested in hearing and collecting new ghost stories.

Working for the Edmonton Ghost Tours is one of the most exciting and rewarding opportunities out there. Our company is made up of the best tour guides in Canada, and we go to great lengths to get and keep the most interesting and competent people around.

It is a work environment where all tour guides play an important role in developing and promoting the tours. It is this 'entrepreneurial' aspect of the work which keeps our guides coming back for a third or fourth season, long after they cease to be afraid of ghosts! Our staff come from diverse backgrounds, many with experience in acting, tour guiding, history or tourism, but all have that positive and unique outlook that make our tours so popular. It is more than just a job to every one of us!

Tour guides are the heart and soul of the Edmonton Ghost Tours. They breathe life into the stories and make certain that every one of our customers goes home satisfied (if not a little scared). They must be willing to learn a provided tour script and a fair amount of local history. They must also be willing to wear an appropriate tour uniform (ie. cloak and lantern) and work in all kinds of weather.

Successful candidates will possess:
